About Alex Tremblay

Alex Tremblay grew up on Concession Road and attended Galt Collegiate Institute before earning an engineering degree from the University of Waterloo.

For twelve years, Alex Tremblay ran the apprenticeship program at a Cambridge auto-parts plant — guiding more than 400 young workers into skilled-trades careers. After watching too many of those workers locked out of the housing market they helped build, Alex Tremblay decided to run.
