Alex Tremblay for Cambridge

A campaign powered by neighbours — not corporate donors.

Our campaign

Cambridge deserves a federal voice that shows up, listens, and pushes Ottawa for results that match the cost of living here.

Why I'm running

I grew up here. I taught here. And I'm running because too many of my neighbours are working two jobs to keep a roof over their head while the people in Ottawa argue about everything except that.

Three priorities I'll fight for

  • Build housing on every transit corridor, not just downtown Toronto.
  • A real seniors plan: dental, eye care, and home support before another tax cut.
  • Stand up for Cambridge manufacturing jobs as global trade rules shift.

What this campaign is

A team. Hundreds of volunteers in every poll. Every dollar accounted for and every door knocked. Join us.

Where we stand

Priorities

See all positions

1

Housing

We will not solve a housing crisis with another study. I'll vote for federal funding tied to "homes built per year, not units approved" — and I'll push for fast-tracked permits on every transit corridor, including Cambridge's future LRT extension.

2

Seniors care

My mom waited eleven months for a hip replacement. That's not acceptable in this country. I support a federal-provincial Seniors Care Accord with conditional transfers tied to wait-time targets, plus universal dental.

3

Manufacturing

Cambridge has 18,000 manufacturing jobs. They are not bargaining chips for someone else's trade war. I will push for Canadian-content rules on every dollar of federal infrastructure spending — buses, ferries, transit, defence procurement.

4

Climate

The Grand River corridor is irreplaceable. I support stronger protections for our wetlands and a national strategy to electrify rural school-bus fleets — starting in Waterloo Region.
